Description
Tower:
23 metres high and 7 storeys high, the observation tower is visible from Highway 85 and offers a magnificent view of Lake Témiscouata and the surrounding area.
Accessible free of charge all year round, it enables visitors to admire the landscape in summer and winter alike. Its safe layout and intermediate landings make it easy to climb, while offering a number of stopping points for observing nature.
In the evening, the tower is illuminated, adding a singular touch to the landscape and allowing a visit in a unique atmosphere.
Photo exhibition:
The Centre récréatif PGR presents a photographic mural entitled “Around Lake Témiscouata”. This exhibition allows users of the running and walking trails to explore Lake Témiscouata on a 360-degree path, highlighting its evolution and changes over time.
The photo banks were drawn from Mr. Alain Tardif's collection, during his excursions spanning 50 years.
The exhibition is open free of charge to all visitors to the Centre Récréatif PGR, open 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
