Lake Témiscouata, the second largest lake south of the Saint Lawrence River, is located on the other side of the Saint Lawrence from the mouth of the Saguenay River. An important component of the Saint John River Basin which flows into the Bay of Fundy, the Lake Témiscouata valley lies on the route between the Saint Lawrence River and the Atlantic Ocean.
The Lake Témiscouata Nautical Station has strong historical connections, and gives access to a huge network of over 300km of waterways, providing canoeists and kayakers with an outstanding experience
Hunting and fishing is popular due to the wide variety of fish and animal species in the region. The Lake Témiscouata Nautical Station, with 800 pristine lakes nearby, also offers lots of fun for kite and wind surfers!
